Businesscardland.com has a free online software program for using with avery papers.  They also have Photoshop and Illustrator Business Card Templates. 

Avery has a lot of pre-designed templates for Microsoft Word.

A basic InDesign 10-up business card template can be found on the Adobe Exchange. 

Microsoft has a good deal of Word and Publisher business card templates.
